I just saw a preview for a new mini-series on the Sci-Fi channel: Tin-Man. Looks like a retelling of the Oz story, but with a sci-fi fan flavor.

It's a 6 episode mini-series coming in December and the description of it makes it sound like a cyberpunk spin on the Wizard of Oz. Very cool sounding actually. Great cast.

I hated that damned dog. I swear he spent the entire time sniffing around my ankles and tried to bite me many times. Could you put a muzzle on the mangy mutt?

Look up a comic called "Ozsquad", it's not quite cyberpunk but has some of that attitude to it. I think it finally bit the dust after changing publishers one too many times, but was kind of interesting, I thought.

Those weren't bites, they were little love nips. He was just showing you he liked you and was trying to get you to play a bit. I mean, those fancy robes and all that shiny bubble business makes you seem a little stiff. (Or are you more based off the novel Glinda?)

I never read the novel, but I can remember watching the movie as a child and thinking that if Dorothy had just left that stupid dog behind, she could have rode home in the big hot air balloon and that would have been really fun.
