ESPN Radio is having a field day poking fun at this special -- apparently there will be a third fight on the card of "Celebrity Boxing" that is TBA.

Whou do you think should be the third matchup? (Rmember folks, this is "Sleaze TV" so anything goes.)

Are Americans this bored?

Apparently Fox thinks so. Of course, Jerry Springer and his ilk are very popular, so I suppose they're probably right.

At last we don't have some of the silly Japanese games shows imported here yet. (Catching live eels with your bare hands, searching for prizes in vats of Jello, etc.) We've tried to import them, and Nickelodeon (Kids TV channel) has some pretty gross gameshows involving lots of pie in the face and Green Slime (tm), but we haven't had to much success with the kind of humiliating stuff Japanese contestants will put up with.

Of course, there was a very popular English game show that was successfully imported here for a while int the late 70's/early 80's -- I don't recall the name -- that involved teams of people in silly and (usually) messy contests and races. The big finale was always a relay race through an obstacle course of silly and messy challenges.
