This is a message to anyone who feels they may need to lie about their personas or who are carrying out a lie currently:
I don't know about your personal past experiences with lying in real life and where it has gotten you, but it is important that if you aren't Hannibal Lecter good at it, which most aren't, it will get you NO WHERE to lie about who you are in this place. This will always be the case especially if you over orchestrate the persona without being crafty, well investigated, and airtight about the nature of your lies.
First of all, this is a HUGE site. We have people from all backgrounds, and we even have some eagle eyes on the bb that don't miss a thing. We usually get stuff like people claiming they are someone in a porn photo series, or someone who is just being a troll but they show too many signs of who else they are on the board, and lastly, those who fake partial or entire personas. We just went through this again, but this time and innocent artists work was involved and misrepresented with a lie. It is not just unacceptable here, or unethical, it is illegal.
However, people can lie about all sorts of little things, like if I told you I was working on a new painting, but really haven't started it yet. Which would really be a lie if I said that right now.
Anyway, it is still as awful a thing to lie about little shit, as it is the big ones. The reason is that you are lying to yourself. What good does it do you? None.
But it's the big ones that give clue into the idea that you are not trustworthy to the people here, and if you are here in the first place, is it to be part of the community or to eventually be banished. And is this sort of thing perpetuated because you are really untrustworthy or are you unsure about your own worth as a person, so you lie and end up in a pit of lies that can come back to haunt you?
If the latter, Why don't you like who you really are enough to honor your own dignity? Could it be that bad? If so, you aren't alone. Join a million other self-doubting people and come to terms with the fact that people will love you if you open up to them who you really are. Friends are important. Why not seek the solace and support of those you connect with. If you connect with no one, ask yourself if you are the reason no connections are being made. If so, then why not try and open up to just a few individuals you know you can trust about being honest but nice, about who you really are, and work your way up to learning to love yourself.
No one is exempt from constructive betterment and criticism, but that is the key to effectiveness that it must be constructive.
Even the fucked up people are important.
Where would we be without PPMan?
I never really write anything to him, but I've had correspondence with him, seen his photo (if there was an old man I'd like to see fuck a young woman, it's PP). This guy keeps the British/American tension of the 1700's alive. He is obviously a historical preservationist.
How boring the board would have been for a spell without yayati. Admit it. He is a now a novelty. Now, we just all sit back in awe and go ????

KR1 had this fucking board wrapped around his little finger for a time, but he got worn out, as do all the negative ones.
So too shall our hearts coldly embrace the predecessors of this fanfare trade of registered trolls.
(I will stand behind the idea that it is quite pathetic that some trolls get all the action, but it is a democracy here, so fuck it.)
Since I've digressed already, I'll further it with another...
Side matter: I admire it when people choose to never post their image on the bb. I also admire those who do it. When people like red rose and metal minx, claude, and others post their real pix here you don't see them get pummeled with negative remarks that can actually be taken seriously. I mean the truth is not a bad thing, and if someone is too heavy for your liking, or you don't really dig his or her style, what does it matter anyway? You don't have to shove it down anyone’s throat to be effective. Just don't pursue anything with them. Right? Life goes the fuck on and on no mater what you decide to be like.
Yes, if you post yourself on here you risk being recognized, but we have rules here about revealing personal info about others, so if you recognize someone and acknowledge where you know them from on the Board... YOUR POST GETS EARASED because it is a NO NO. This applies to copyright infringement.
That is not censorship. You digitally agreed that you would adhere to all forum standards of protecting the identity of other members when you registered. It is stated that you should not post copyrighted material as your avs when you are in the act of posting an av. If you didn't register and break the rules, then you have no domain over what is kept on the board and what isn't. That is up to the site owner. If that bothers you, join, and contest it in vain, but with pride, like AJ.
So, troll or not, If you recognize someone and want to let them know you must private message them about it.
We had a horrible occurrence of that with a loved board member, who was at professional risk for the matter. It was ugly at first, but it got a bit better. However, the person could never do what they enjoyed here, an art form to them and many others, on the same level as they previously had, all because a person didn't be discrete about it.
What is important for some of you to realize is that if you wish to have your identity remain accepted here and be a part of this community, you should probably realize now that your big lies will probably be caught making everyone see you as a liar. If you are a shit-stirring troll expect to be treated like one, by either being ignored or pummeled with stones. Your choice. Life goes the fuck on and on and on with or without you...
Yes, You can always come back as someone else, but most likely just being yourself is better than the lies you can think up and try to keep up with. If you want to live a lie, go into acting or do something like studying the art of deception in depth via books or even an ONLINE search to keep you off of here until you master it. I mean really, where has the art in this lying bullshit gone, anyway? Okay, really, back to the heart warming fun....
Most importantly, and with all due respect, it is always most empowering to embrace who you really are and sharing it with others is the best gift you have to give.
Please don't lie. It isn't right.
