JazzmanJim is a self-described Libertarian.

But most Libertarians lean more to the right than to the left.

Weevil is also a leftist, but he hasn't been around in a while.

And what about ppman?

How did I forget the MAN?

Is he wingless or on the left? I'll go left, but damn it was close.

*lol* All this for 'lil ole me?

And you didn't even include me in one of these lists? But you made two categories! Holy wow!

I'm not sure I'd include myself in any of those labels.... I think I'd like my own category called "labeless" maybe - or you can include me with the mysterious and unmentioned Discordians & SubGeniuses.

Which category would you have put me in if you had dared stick a label on me? *grin*

BTW - I actually like this idea mainly to see if the people you listed would agree or take issue with they way you've categorized them. I'm also interested who here might voluntarily agree to be in any of the 3 categories or even another category of their own choosing.

For the record, and fairly seriously, I believe I have fallen into each of those categories on occaision depending on the issue being discussed. Yet I still insist that I cannot be labelled. And I truly believe that while people may lean more to one category than another - labelling them is an injustice and twists people's perceptions into always filtering what other people say through their own personal interpretation of what that label means to them.

Wheeeeeeee. I'm right wing!

Only ever voted Labour in my life and I'm right wing!

Sorry Marxist you got that one dead wrong!

Try as you might to be moderate, you're on the Left, as is CB.

I was a little curious about that, but figured everyone else knew something I didn't.

She won't read it, there's no sex or hearts in the title.

Once again you paint with your broad brush, While I lean right of center on certain issues, There are other issues where I have a more liberal view. Especially certain social issues. I think women have the right of choice. But, I wonder why that choice is not extended to me when my state tells me I have to wear a seatbelt. After all its my body, it should be my choice. As for sexual issues, I think you should have sex with whoever makes you cum the hardest. Peoples sex lives are their business, I dont understand why some groups feel the need to make it everyone elses business. I also believe in personal responsibility. Ive watced for over 35 years while my government has spent 100s of billions on failed social programs, yet we still have poor people. Why is that? The odd thing is when I was younger I had a left leaning. Funny, what maturing can do to your outlook on life. Hell, I even voted for Jimmy Carter in 76.

Wow! You HAVE matured!

You sound Libertarian to me.

Which one?

Which one am I, according to you, Marxist, a "nut job" or a "pragmatic cynic" (whatever that is)?

Actually, it's U.S. society which collectively is a nut job.

Nut job.

Not Wingless....too many wings.

Have to go with Dilly, I bounce in between, though I lean far more to the left than the right. FAR more.

Appropriate

That's appropriate. In an insane society, only those who are labelled as "nuts" are truly sane.
