To the UK I recommend this handy translation guide. Feel to practice your newly discovered linguistic skills on the natives.
The sections on Blackpool , Chinese and Ferrets are especially informative.
Pyper might enjoy the reference to Spain.

My favourite though
quote
Wales
Wild desolate country to the west of England. They hate the English ( what the heck, I hate the English too and I am English ) Full of sheep and people singing in chapels and watching Rugby. Roughly ten percent of the population of Wales speak Welsh. A small minority spend their spare time setting fire to houses belonging to English people. No American tourists there because for some reason no Americans have heard of Wales. Go on, admit it, had you heard of it? Prince Charles is Prince of Wales.

Nope thats Scotland. You can cross from Ireland to Scotland without ever losing sight of land. Wales to Ireland is a heck of a lot further / more expensive.

Whattya know, something timely!

I have a friend who is PCSing to Cheltenham soonish. I'm sure this will be handy for him.

Grazi guys.

It's not surprising that I'm half Welsh on my Fathers side then is it. Throw in my Irish and German quarters and you have recipe almost guaranteed to hate all things English.

Funny thing is, I had purged myself of my rabid anti-English prejudices and was doing fine...loving the world.

Then I came to Lit.

Then I met....p_p_man.
