I wrote this today after seeing the threads that developed here over night. I had alot to say but in the end I decided I didn't want to add to the negative feelings.

So here is what I think about you. All of you. It doesn't matter if I know you well or not I know each and every person who posts here IS beautiful.

We are all special, we are all unique. Thank goodness for each and every one of us.

While I am flattered by some of the things said about me in one of those threads from last night (this stuff always kicks off when we're alseep, doesn't it, EL?), I am also embarrassed, and do feel rather awkward about the whole thing. I don't want to be part of a popularity contest, and singled out. I am just me, take me or leave me. In fact, I came close to walking away from here last night, but that was before any of this happened, and it has nothing to do with it. I spend too much time here, and it's because I am so prolific that I get noticed.

Anyway, wonderful idea, EL.

EL and Lou, you are a couple of my favorites on AH. Why? Because of your incessant warmth and upbeat attitudes. For a bi-polar mess like me it's something to shoot for.

This means more today than most days, in fact, because it feels like nobody (except EL and one or two others) is talking to me. Oh well, maybe I will bugger off for a while. And, no, this is not a plea to anyone for sympathy. Some people just give and give and give and don't ever try to take. But, when they ask for a little bit in return, they are just complaining. Maybe I'm fed up with giving.

The above is not directed at anyone in particular, btw, I'm just feeling down.

Please, nobody quote me, or anything like that. Let me just walk away quietly.

If you have to leave, you have to leave.....BUT...allow me to say that the AH won't be the same without you Lou. It's seeing your posts and how warm you were with everyone that allowed me to get my head out of the sand and start interacting with people here.......would be a shame to lose you...even if just for a while

What the hell went on here over the weekend? I was losing my ship in the brief moments I was online, so I didn't read any of these popularity type threads that cropped up, and I won't waste my time now. But when I hear Lou speaking of leaving, I get mad, and scared.

What happened in the AH that would make Lou feel unwelcome?

Actually i'm not sure what happened. I'mnot sure Lou's decision is totally to do with what has been going on on the threads either. I do know alot of people got angry, some got hurt and some more protective over others. I think it will blow over eventually as these things do but I think it will have an impact on people too.
