I am attempting to eat a tostada. So far, I flung the lettuce, dropped an olive in my lap, and the meat and pico de gallo keep falling off my fork. Might be 2020 before I finish it.

What foods do you find hard to eat?

Mangoes. I can never cut them up properly, so just end up with a pulpy mess that usually has some skin in it, and mango juice dripping down one arm. Apparently one should always eat mangoes in the bath.

Yep! I can't do those either.

I sure am having trouble! I have a chocolate covered dried pineapple ring in my mouth. I am just chewing and chewing! No pineapple flavor either!

Quince! These things are hard as hell. You can't even bite into them let alone cut them with a knife. But they do make tasty butter if you can figure out how to cut them up.

Chefs perks! Cut the meaty bits off the stone - pulpy bit on the stone belongs to the person doing the cutting, usually me! I knaw and suck that stone - mango juice running down my chin, who cares - some things are worth losing your dignity over :D

Really? I eat those things by the tree full. It's beets I can't eat. Can't stand those things.

The salad I had last night. I don't eat dressing. Nothing to hold it together.

Oysters in a shell. Once you take them out of the shell, your teeth will love you. But if you leave them in the shell be prepared for high dental bills. :D

Apples with the peel. Always gets stuck between my teeth!

Not necessarily a "hard to eat" thing, but just wondering: If it's okay to eat ribs with one's hands, why is it considered bad etiquette to hold the bone of a T-Bone steak and eat the meat from it?

Are you telling me that my dad had bad etiquette? And would you believe that I never ate a rib? They just don't look good.
