Food for thought...

Into each life some rain must fall. Some days must be dark and dreary.
--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I think someone once said that you appreciate the sunny days more if you make it through some dark ones. I know from personal experience I've had more than my share of dreary ones. I keep telling myself they will end and often a small beam of sunshine breaks through which keeps me going. Its when the dreary days outnumber the sunny ones that the spirit gets low. But I can always count on my son to bring a smile to my face. He sees me crying and always has a hug for me. Sometimes that's all it takes. Other days nothing but chocolate will do.

What problem can I confront and eliminate today? [/B]

This is a great booster. If you tackle a small one and manage to find a solution, the bigger ones don't seem as big. As of ten minutes ago, I found a babysitter for tomorrow... nothing like leaving it to the last minute. But now we can relax for the evening. :D Until the next one comes along.

We will never have perfect living conditions. The only place where every day is a sunny one is in the desert. When pain comes, we can walk through our problems and settle things quickly, rather than prolonging the hurt by battling our way around the obstacles in an effort to avoid them.

Very insightful, very insightful...
