You'll have to bookmark the author's submission page, or add him/her to your favourites, bookmark your favourites page and check it on a regular basis.
Some authors will notify their readers with a mass email (if you've sent the author feedback with your email address before, or you've sent your email addy to the author before) when their stories get published. You'll have to ask the author and see if he/she does that.
