WASHINGTON — Federal investigators have gathered enough evidence to bring charges in their investigation of President Donald Trump's former national security adviser and his son as part of the probe into Russia's intervention in the 2016 election, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation.
. . .
Mueller is applying renewed pressure on Flynn following his indictment of Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, three sources familiar with the investigation told NBC News.

The investigators are speaking to multiple witnesses in coming days to gain more information surrounding Flynn's lobbying work, including whether he laundered money or lied to federal agents about his overseas contacts, according to three sources familiar with the investigation.
. . .
Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, who worked closely with his father, accompanied him during the campaign and briefly worked on the presidential transition, could be indicted separately or at the same time as his father, according to three sources familiar with the investigation.

If the elder Flynn is willing to cooperate with investigators in order to help his son, two of the sources said, it could also change his own fate, potentially limiting any legal consequences.

Yeah, I saw that news item. Except it's not news, it's speculation and prediction, which ALL supposed 'news' sources indulge in too heavily because hey, they've got hours and bandwidth to fill. Britefart, InfoWank, FauxNewz, and the rest of the alt.right fill those voids by just making-up stuff. That's easy.

NEWS is reporting on what has actually happened IMHO. That includes announcements of future events, and what parties have said about such planned events, but does NOT include musings on what may occur tomorrow. A statistical office reporting on trends and projections -- that's news. A pundit predicting some change -- ain't news. Might be entertaining, though. Especially when they're totally wrong.

Flynn floated willingness to trade several months ago. I think it's a foregone conclusion he'll eventually swing. I think the holdup is that he was lips and teeth with Trump on all of this, so when he goes it will be a single step to the center.

I thought Hillary was next, on the collusion thing.. the uranium deal. The only people successful at colluding to subvert our 2016 Election process, was the DNC ! Hahaha

HRC had no input to the Uranium One decision. There's no 'there' there. And we now have gigatons of evidence of Team Tromp collusion and aiding-and-abetting Russian infiltration.

In case you've forgotten, both the Russian defense minister and our US UN ambassador have declared that Russia is waging war on the US. Waging. War. Colluding with enemies Waging War on the US is treason. T.R.E.A.S.O.N. You should keep that in mind.

That and some people can't get into their pointy little heads that the DNC is not a governmental organization. It's a private club. Very few laws apply to them, and a lot fewer apply to them when they don't win government positions. If they make favoritism deals for what they'll do when they win and they win, they are doing something illegal if they try to deliver. If they don't win and have no opportunity to deliver, they haven't done anything illegal. If they give someone the bum's rush for the nomination within their party, they haven't done anything illegal just for doing that (unless they broke actual laws in the process).

This DNC crap is just that--trying to deflect crap by folks who feel the noose tightening around their own necks. They can always count on some idiots buying that, though.

Trump would have been better to do for the Russians what he does for his business vendors--take what he can that lines his pockets, not win the election, and then stiff them. Trump's biggest mistake was winning the election. It's going to make him one of history's biggest traitors and buffoons. I'm pretty sure he understood that and was just surprised as hell when he won--and isn't enjoying himself now like he would be if he hadn't won.

Don't forget the Canadian government. They had to sign off on the deal as well.

Not to mention Congress had been informed the entire time (at least a subcommittee) yet no one spoke up until now.

Yeah, no politics involved whatsoever.

Most likely they will get him for non disclosure of income sources in some doc, maybe lying about something to the FBI <yawn>.
