The setting for this thread is at a major university, so your character can be either a student or a teacher at the school. While the setting is somewhat normal, a select group of the students have abilities that many would refer to 'magical'. Whether said individuals use these gifts for good or ill purposes is up to the poster and will be addressed at certain points in the thread.
