Today I looked at the flowers in my garden and thought how wonderful they looked, all reds and greens and blues and stuff.

Then suddenly out of nowhere butterflies came flying through adding more colour. But this time the colour was enhanced by the beautiful movement of the little fairy like creatures as they fluttered by to disappear over the fence into my neighbour's garden.

Then it rained slightly for a while and when it stopped there was a rainbow arcing its way across the sky as the wonderful sun came peeping out from behind the disappearing clouds.

And even more colours were added to the palette of my world...

And I thought how beautiful life is, how wonderful to be alive, and how nice it is to be so content...

Ahhhh...

Sigh...

:)

Oh yeah, and I'll just bet your flowers are better than our flowers, huh?

To quote Marvin the paranoid android "ghastly isn't it"

That was just so warming and fluid PPman. I know the feeling of being overcome by natures beauty.

On Friday I was out watering my squash, and enjoying my sunflowers, and Russian Sage (that is still blooming a month later!) and suddnly a flock of geese came off of the one of the many ponds a tad west of here and my yard happens to be right under the path they take each night to go to their nesting grounds not far from here. They fly low because it isn't a far trip.

Well, I was overcome by them for about 15 minutes as flock after flock made their chevron flight over me. It was breathtaking and amazing. The last flock was giant, spanning the bredth of my yard and more as they flew over my dog and I, who were now sprawled out in the lawn enjoying the show, yet saying a little "please no poop" prayer! :)

Makes these hot August evenings worth being out for.
