DeSantis of Florida has started a state based DOGE effort soon to be renamed FAFO (Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight). The team is going around the state and doing an audit in various counties/cities and then reporting to the public what their elected officials are spending the citizens tax dollars on. Needless to say, in many cities/counties shining the light of day on what the local politicians have been spending the locals tax dollars on is the LAST things said politicians want to have happen.

It's going to be interesting to see what the fallout is going to be come election day.
