Floggers

I have started making floggers, admittedly mostly for me, but I have had enquiries from people wanting me to make them one to order.

I want to ask, what makes the perfect flogger for you?
What sensation works best?
What weight feels good?
What materials do you like best?
Do you prefer to buy off the shelf, or have you ever had a flogger made for you?

I want to get an idea of what is popular and what is likely to sell if I make a few stock ones.

That's a tough one! I bet you'll get as many answers as posters, maybe more.

My favorite sensation is thuddy. I love feeling some weight that sinks into my muscles, especially on my back and thighs.

But I like a sharp sting, too, on my ass or breasts. Something with a quick bite, just as quickly gone, so it can happen over and over and over.

I'm pretty sure that we like leather the best since we have <ticking off fingers> um, I think six leather ones? One of them was custom made, and I think it's our favorite (we call it Black & Blue, but mostly for the weaving on the handle).

I love braided floggers and for non braided ones I prefer Buffalo Hide because they are nice and thuddy and leave some lovely measles.

I definitely agree with thuddy!
I have just made one with 40 x 2cm wide falls which will get its first test drive on Friday. It's heavy enough that I think Master will get an achy arm before I get tired of it

Actually, though, horsehair gives me a lot of control. Lots of contrast, from light brushing to stinging.

As a Dom, I like real leather, with a handle that fits nice in my hands that i can also rub against her puss.. no hooks or loops.. the working end should be thicker leather, atleast nine strands of it. cut at the end either square or pointed. I have used ones with rivits in and onew without.. just depends on my sub..
