The story:The power of a dream made real.
In anciant times it was forbidden to speak or write words that were thought to have power, like the names of the gods,or words that brought curse, because words have a special power, a word...no matter how simple,is a thought becoming an action, and actions no matter how simple, can start a chain of events that in time bring changes, changes to lives...and ultemitly, the world.
Even in this modern day words have a power that is not to be taken lightly, for they are formed of the same stuff that dreams are made of,and dreams can be the most dangerous things of all.
One example of words leading to danger is the story of Jeff and Diane...
ic:Jeff quickly tossed his duffle bag in the back of his 77' Ford LTD
got in and headed for the highway, it took all the willpower he had to do the speed limit as he left town for Lake Shasta and the latest chapter in his life,a new adventure,he was finaly going to meet Diane in person!
It started about two months ago...
Jeff was reading a post on an internet bulletin board, it was from "TulsaVixen82" and she was having some problems and needed someone to talk to, Jeff was on the verge of a severe depression himself and answered he post.
Over the next two weeks to wrote back and forth almost every day, soon the were talking via instant messages...that led to phone calls, the phone calls soon led to plans to meet in real life.
That brings us to the highway and Jeff (aka "Freakoid" to those who know him online) heading to meet a woman he only knew for 8 short weeks.
They agreed to meet at a resort he knew off in California because it was halfway between were they lived, it was the lakeside resort called "Neverland Hights" 20 little cabins on the southeast shore of the lake near the State park.
He was so nervous as he drove, that between the little town in Oregon where he lived and the California border he must have smoked close to a half carton of cigarettes.
"God I hope she realy is there...if she stands me up..."
he could not finish the statement, because he relly had no idea what he would do if she was not there,so he just kept driving...
