The best way to flirt is in stages - at first converse, normally (anything forced or obvious usually fails and rather quickly too) - then, as the comfort level increases, move to an intimate topic, family, commitments and the like - then (if all the signs are good, you'll know them if the are) - drop the big bomb - I did it last night to a beautiful catering woman I've been working with - "pardon me for being a little forward here, my southern gentleman ways usually prevent me from doing anything this bold - but I simply must compliment you, you have the best damn ass I've ever witnessed." Or something like that. Man, let me tell you it works every time. Just like bass fishing with a purple worm! May not get you into bed - but it gets a smile that tells you they're thinking about it.

Shila -- hear from this side. The smoothest and most sexy flirt I ever was pleased to experience was one that came over a period of 2-3 days. It was a typical no-brainer business conference I had to attend .... real duh parade.
Middle of a meeting -- I realize I'm being "politely watched" by a very nice looking woman. I look -- she smiles, and goes back to listening. 20 minutes later she is looking again... small smile and gradually back to listening to the brain damaged speaker. Could not find her at the lunch break but I did see her after the afternoon session. Another smile, only more of it if you understand. Talked with her over drinks at the evneing get together -- more simple smile and enough perosnality to knock me flat.
She did nothing outrageous, or over the line -- just simple, focused, and aimed at me. To this day I don't know why she "picked" me, but she was damn good at being a flirt!!
