Flashbacks to underage sexual encounters

Hello, all. I'm a brand new, aspiring author on here and I've just submitted a story with some key elements being flashbacks to sexual encounters that occurred while my character was underage. I've seen one other author on here do that, but I know most avoid it, for obvious reasons. The encounters are not full-blown fucking, and they are consensual, so I'm wondering if that makes any difference.
Also, the age of the characters is kind of a key thing, so in case my story does get rejected on those grounds of the flashbacks, anyone have any suggestions for how I can restructure them so as to make them acceptable to guidelines, without changing the characters' ages?

Lit has a strict 'Over 18' policy on all stories. I would say that any story submitted with underage sex will be rejected.

I would suggest making the ages more vauge and simplysaying 'when she was younger' kindof thing. Sorry, not much help, I know. Other authors have had this problem here but it's the site rules.

The policy is no sex under 18. In Literotica all characters are pure and virginal until their 18th birthday when they suddenly turn into raving sex maniacs who have mysteriously become very experienced.

Underage sex can be referred to but NOT described.

I would suggest going no further than 'She lost her virginity some time ago' IF that statement is important to understanding her motivations.

Describing a sexual encounter between people who are under 18 is not allowed.

We in the UK find some difficulty with this because our age of consent is 16.

As has been said many times before, there are other sites that do not share Literotica's rules in underage sex. If in doubt, please post the story elsewhere.

I feel you on the 16 thing, Oggy. We have the same law here. Actually, I'm not sure, but I think it might even be 14 for consensual.
I know I was trampin around at 14-15, so I tend to forget the whole legality issue. Plus, like I said, I did actually read a story on here with some flashbacks to some encounters where one of the characters was not only a minor, but a child.
Can Literotica actually be shut down for that? I'm afraid I don't really have a full grasp on the laws regarding underage fictional characters. Didn't Anne Rice write an erotic novel about a minor? Belinda or something?

As long as you have no description of the under age 18 sex, it is allright. That applies even if the characters are married to each other, by the way. Even if no laws are being broken, under 18 sex is still not allowed. You can make references to previous encounters, as long as there is no description. One of my stories is about what happened to a woman on her 18th birthday. She keeps comparing what is happening to what her boyfriends did or didn't do, and it is obvious she has had a fair amount of sexual experience, but I have no real description of her previous sexual encounters.

Even the most detailed stories of sex with minors is not illegal, as long as it is fiction. You can find such stories in dirty book stores. It is, however, not allowed on this site. This is a choice made by the owners of the site, as is their right. Within lmits, you can write about rape or incest, both illegal, and the stories will be posted. It is not a matter of being illegal; it is a matter of the preference of the site owners.
