i was wondering if anyone could tell me how people do this? is there a certain type of software i need to do this with my own pics?

The animation of the girl writing on her arm? You could do that with a GIF animation program. There are several in the $20 price range. Some allow you to dowmload a trial version for free.

Take a look at Gimp2 it's a freebie, and allows you to make gifs and save them as animations, it also allows you to optimize them in two different ways to get the file sizes down to a reasonable size.

thank you ezzy, i downloaded gimp, i cant figure out how to get it to do what i want it to do though.
i need some kind of step by step instructions, any takers?
