I have 1 aunt, and 3 great aunts. All of whom think 20 is more than old enough to start thinking about settling down, and due to the fact that my youngest cousin is getting married this summer, I'm now the only person in the family of eligible age and unmarried. I get set up with every Thom Dick and Harry that is related to one of these women's friends. I ditch dates on a regular basis, always being polite, but firm.

Yes, I have been on a blind date before. When she opened the door, a little white bird flew down to my shoulder and whispered: "Pretend she's your sister...."

I have never ditched a date before. Pardon- that's a lie. I am a low, insensitive, selfish, and _____________ bastard who will probably burn in hell.

She wasn't so much of a date- she was my girlfriend and we were at a party. Thank god that was over 10 years ago.

I've been "fixed up" once. It went ok for a while but we didn't share enough common interests and were on different levels intellectually.

I set my brother up with a friend though, and they're still together. In fact she is going to be moving in with him soon.

Alright, I'll admit it. My mom was always trying to get me to hang out with my sister's friends. There was one in perticular that she wouldn't let drop for a long time...I think her name was Kita or something like that. Anyway, nothing ever came of it. I did fantasize about my sister's best friend for a while, but I wasn't going to ever do anything to jepordize their friendship.

They rarely did. I met someone very compatible that way, but distance proved the death of the relationship. I think overall it

Not while I was on it, but when S/O & I broke up while dating, "rebounded" w/ a wack-o in Toronto that I had to break up w/ publicly - Only way to get free of her was to be cruel - I was NOT proud of myself, but it had to be done...

I ditched a blind date once, then went into a bar down the next block to grab a drink and make a phone call so I could hook up with some friends. When I got there a bunch of people I knew were there and we ended up going back to one of the guy's houses and having an orgy. Best blind date I ever had....haahahahaha.

I have been set up for a few blind dates.

Never had one work.

Never ditched anyone...I think too much of feelings to do that

My Mother Inlaw set me up with my husband in a roundabout kind of way...... 16 years later I'm still callin his name in the holds of passion

I have set up a few friends in the past who are still together after a few years. I just make sure they are suited first, not just because they are both single.

Never had anyone set a blind date up for me. But I have had people ask me to set up blind dates. On each occaision I decided that the two people I was being asked to pair up weren't suited so I left them alone to their own devices.

I would never ever ditch a date. If the date was a complete disaster I would take her home and make sure she's ok. But that hasn't happened because I do have some choice in who I go on dates with.
