The worst part is this is exactly what we wish people would do when there is a shooting nearby and people spot the perpetrator. Those guys had no idea what had just happened they just heard there was a shooting and saw a guy with a gun running away.

Imagine if that whacko in Butler had made it off the roof and started running away. Anyone who stopped him would have been a hero.
