First off: sorry, jAF, but this thread will abound with YouTube videos, or die quickly and hardly have any.

Anyhow, the concept is five videos from one band or artist to jam out to for a bit. Doesn’t have to be live performances. I will kick it off with Huey Lewis and the News, since that is what was on my mind when I thought of this

Good stuff. Some studio versions and videos of probably the worlds greatest band. Also some live stuff. Last one was final show with me in attendance. Fuck did they shred and were fucking wild.

Ugliest Son - Diarrhea planet

Platinum Girls - Diarrhea Planet

Seperations - Diarrhea Planet

White Girls Student Of The Blues(Live KEXP) - Diarrhea Planet

Field Of Dreams(Live) - Diarrhea Planet

Ugliest Son, huh? 🤔

Sometimes, concerts are package tours of various artists. Here’s one featuring some of the few country songs of recent decades I can stand.

Welcome to The Chicks mini-concert! (I could choose any 5 of their songs, but these are most frequently on my repeat list).

Micky Dolenz would need hired guns to pull off this tour, but I’d go.

Maybe one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the past 50 years is a Mexican from Hawthorne, CA, home of the Beach Boys. Joel Jerome. His band, Dios or Dios(Malos), thanks to Ronnie James Dio being a bitch, recorded maybe the best debut album of the 2000s. I saw them twice in the same day around 2005. Once at a now closed Tampa record store and later that night opening for Beulah. Was completely blown away by an overweight dude in sweatpants singing songs I thought only John Lennon or Brian Wilson were capable of writing. All 5 of these songs are from that debut but he/they have plenty more fucking goddamn gems. I think Dangermouse has been releasing some recent shit if that tells you anything. Enjoy.

Five songs at a time? You know how to spoil me 😍

It was hard to pick my top five from these guys but if I was at their concert, these would be the ones I would want to hear the most. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you The Script

She'll have to be in hologram. But...the queen of disco, one night only.
