Let's stay motivated and chat about our steps!

Do you have one and use it? Do you have one and forget to use it? Thinking of getting one?

Here's your homework if you're already using one. Go to your email and find your last fitbit weekly progress report and share the details here.

Oct 26, 2015 to Nov 01, 2015

I've had one for a few years now and when I first got it, I was logging 20k steps a day and got in great shape! This fall my goal has fallen to a more reasonable 10k steps a day. This is my routine - I very regularly walk at night for about 90 minutes. About six weeks ago I added a treadmill run to that, but shortened my outside walk. I'll also hike a lot as I live in Colorado.

Here's my last weekly progress report.

Debating whether or not I should get one. I've been training for a 5K so I've been out walking/running way more… might be cool to see how far I go each time, but are they really worth it?

I'm undecided at this point between the Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Surge. My concern is the wrist bands do not appear to be replaceable if badly worn or damaged. I also researched the Apple Watch and some other fitness monitors but keep coming back to the Fitbit. Tiamo is highly motivated in her health and fitness routine and could probably motivate a modern day Lazarus to jump up and chase after her. ;)

I've been debating getting a Fitbit. I got a polar watch and I havnt barely used that so unsure if it would just be money wasted. I track my steps with my iPhone but don't always have it on me, etc.

So far, at work, I have broke two fitbits. I am going to get another, but not until I recover from ankle surgery, it doesn't make sense to get one until I can walk again.

I average ten to thirteen miles a day just at work. The weekends I try to get out and hike or do a lot of shopping to keep the averages up. Hiking is much preferred to shopping.

I've been using the IPhone for tracking my steps but like you don't always have it with me. Fitbit's had the lion's share of the fitness bracelet marketplace but competitors are always a motivation for a price drop.

I was cleaning out my closet today and found at least 4 Polar watches and 2 Garmins...

I've been pretty busy so I just missed my goal this week, but I'll try harder next week! Sorry for not tidying this up better, I'm on my tablet.
