After my husband expressed an interest we did some experimenting. The problem seems to be that my hands are too big.

We are very safety conscious. We don't do anything that causes pain since we don't want to harm each other. It feels like there isn't any room to expand. He says it's not pain at the sphincter but outside and "deeper". We have tried numerous times, many positions, copious amounts of different lubes but still have not been successful.
