Wow, thats a big'un, look at that beauty....WHACK make good stew
I admit it. I like watching people on TV cooking stuff. Its just cool as hell to me, I can see food getting made and no mess to clean up (as opposed to watching the StudMuffin cook). Especially Yan Can Cook, the man is funny and damn can he do interesting things with those knives and vegetables. I scare the bejeeezus out of Mother StudMuffin whenever I go to her house and pick up a knife, she's afraid I'm going to lose one or all of my fingers.
The StudMuffin, on the other hand, prefers to watch people fish. He didn't tell me about this until we'd been married abou 9 months and it was too late to take him back to the husband department at Walmart. The only thing more boring than going fishing with him is to watch it on TV. He even gets excited when these guys catch stuff. I mean honestly, they get paid to do that, they hang out for days on the lake to get all those shots of them looking like the master fisherguy. Aaargh, lets just go to Bass Pro and debate on whether or not to buy yellow crappie jigs or yellow crappie jigs with white heads on them. At least Bass Pro has food. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE.
Thank gawd for football. Something we both enjoy.
Of course, our son would rather watch cartoons, so he usually pouts in his bedroom during football season.
*sigh*
