First oral sex, giver or receiver?

I was a giver, neighbor boy came as I was taking a breath and his load went straight into my lungs. I was coughing and gagging for 15 minutes and ran home crying.

I'm not sure of my age. Maybe 20 or 21. I was washing my car at my parent's house. Their driveway was on a hill. I stepped backwards and somehow dislocated my knee. I wound up having to stay at their house for a few days because I lived in a townhouse and couldn't get up and down the stairs. My mom and I wore the same size clothes but she didn't want to loan me her white granny panties. She sent my dad out to buy me panties. He happened to love lingerie so he went all out.

After my knee healed some and I went back home, my neighbor Jeff kept stealing those panties. There were three pairs. All satin and lace. Hot pink, purple and turquoise. I had the major hots for him. I began taking his socks. One sock every time I had to take his laundry out of the dryer. I also repaired his clothing, sewing buttons on and such.

I know he was the underwear thief because the missing panties would magically appear after he had been in the laundry room. Alas, he and I never hit it off. He was deaf and my attempts at learning sign language were dismal. His roommate said he wouldn't interact with people who couldn't sign well, but he thought the laundry thing was pretty funny.

What is the first thing you bought yourself with your own money that was something more valuable than a candy bar or movie ticket?

I bought a Kate Spade brand planner. Calendar, address book, whole nine yards. I worked at a salon and it also worked as a wallet for the butt loads of cash I’d get every day. I used it to keep track of my income because dollar dollar bills y’all.

First time you lost something important (not a person)?

Probably keys to a holiday cottage when on holiday with my parents. I was probably 9-ish.
As a way of saying sorry for the trouble of getting new ones re-cut (which obviously I covered, too), I bought a box of chocolates for the owners. Turns out the landlady was diabetic. Whoops.

FTY got behind the wheel of a car?

When I was 16. I took my permit test the day I turned 16, then I could move to hands on practice - couldn't drive before that. Three months later, got my license. Now that I'm a parent, I'm like GOOD LORD THAT'S YOUNG, but I'm an exceptionally safe driver (right? You've driven with me!) and have been driving for more than half my life. Eeek.

First time you had an overnight alone.

First night at SpaceCamp.

They assigned us to six-person pods in a creepy space-themed dormy kind of building. I was the first of the six to fly in. The others didn’t get there until morning, but I didn’t know they wouldn’t come in at any time that night. I slept very badly.

I was thirteen.

I was in high school and I was babysitting. My best friend stopped by and said, “what would you do if I told you I’m dating (enter my crush at the time’s name here).” I showed her what I’d do and punched her and knocked her ass out. They don’t call me Rocky for nothing. Lol 😂

First time you flew in a plane and where did you go?

I was 12 and to grandmother’s house. 😁

First time you baked and what.

Hmm... that might have been at school, year 3 I think, and we all baked flapjacks (UK, not pancakes). Might have been where I first realised how much I loved sweet oat things. I recall taking some home so family could have some too.

First time you spoke or appeared on a radio/tv/podcast show?

In high school I appeared on the local news when they interviewed students at a pep rally for a big football game. I had very big hair back then.

First time you seriously injured yourself (ie, broke a bone, required stitches, etc.)

I was 6. I was running across a dirt road with my sister, trying to beat her to the front seat of our Grandad’s car, when she pushed me. I fell, and slid straight under a parked car and cut my forehead open quite badly. 10 stitches later.

First time you got a really bad haircut?

Fourth grade. I wanted the Chyna Phillips of Wilson Philips short hair cut and ended up with a bowl cut and looked like a boy.

First time you won an award?

Humble brag: I won a lot of awards and prized slots in orchestras when I was young. I think my first performance award was 4th grade (10ish years old).

First time you completely failed at a goal?

High school. Everyone expected me to go under 2 minutes at 800m my senior year. But I preferred to skip practice and hang with my GF instead.

My PR is 2:00.03.

First time you went to a concert?

As a teen I saw Brad Paisley with my boyfriend, my brother, and his wife.

First time you broke up with someone?

Only time... my third ex-fiancee. 1993.

First time you tried to flirt with someone, and were really bad at it?

Every time.

First time you realized you were in love

Probably when I was 24. I can't pinpoint exactly when , but I think I fell pretty quickly for her. Not my wisest move, in hindsight :D

First time you remembering breaking something important that belonged to a family member?
