im wondering if its pretty tough to be accepted

Everyone here is of the friendly sort, they even welcomed me as a newb. In turn, welcome to Lit!

Anyone else want to know why he's hoarding those Qs?

I just assumed he got a bunch last time he played Scrabble and didn't know what to do with them. *shrug* It happens to me.

Set up the board.

I'll get the foam and pretzels. :D

Oh Yeh--Hah theah noobie.;)

*ahem* Nobody who knows me in RL has ever called me a geek. Not even in high school.

I wasn't calling you a geek. I was simply pointing out my own geekiness. ;)

Hey, in high school, I was one of those kids wearing plaid shirts and playing D&D in the cafeteria . . . .

Can't get any geekier than that.

Hmm . . . 'pretzel' as the first word played . . . that's 44 points, so long as the 'P' is on a double-letter tile.

Not bad, TE :p

I was in drama, two years. Got the lead in Tom Jones ;) Not bad for a fifteen-year-old.

But then I was back to playing second fiddle to a junior house version of Young Sherlock Holmes . . . *sigh*

I did several plays, musical theater, nights of scenes etc. It runs in my blood.

I, on the other hand, wasn't even close to a geek. More like the jock/stoner. ;)

(I was embarrassed that I actually got some scholarships to college)

I got stuck at the "I am but here to serve...." part.
