Hmmm... So, a guy I was working with told me, "I once dared a girl to go down on me, I bet her $50 she couldn't. And I won - I have ten piercings, and she just couldn't even think about all that in her mouth." He got my curiousity going with that story!

The first time we hooked up, he didn't have them all in, just some.. he offered to take them out. I said, let me see - and I found that I don't like metal banging into my teeth, so he took some of the more obnoxiously placed ones out. He's cool like that. Anyway, no, I don't freak out at much. For other types of fooling around.. I like the piercings.

Although we were taking a shower together, and he said, "Can I pee in here? Otherwise I have to take rings out, get out of the shower, dry off... or you'll have pee everywhere." I said, sure, whatever. I don't really freak out at much, and we were in the shower anyway, so who cares?

I agree with Noor, it's good to have those chats with someone in a place where they can't get all wound up and freaked out.

Like most people here, I would not freak out. As I have never been with someone with a genital piercing, I would have to explore it. My ex had her nipple pierced and I was always playing with it. If it came to the point where I discovered it by "accident" I would wonder why she had not told me about it before. Again, like most people here, I would be turned on by it when she told me. Freak me out? No. Excite the hell out of me? Oh YES! I have never been with someone who's got pierced genitals, but I'd LOVE to experience it. Ok, so if I reached into his pants and found a piercing he hadn't told me about, i'd be a) curious, b) a little offput that he hadn't told me about it and c) worried about what it could do to my insides....

I think b and c would worry my the most -- he ain't stickin' that inside me until I know FOR CERTAIN that it's not going to puncture me (or the condom!)....and we'd have to have a serious talk about why he didn't tell me about it beforehand...at this point in my life, if i'm having contact with the insides of someone's pants, we'll have pretty darn good communication and trust first!

I think where a partner might hold off on telling someone beforehand would be to surprise a lover with something new, but I do agree with Giggles here that once discovered...LOTS of conversation would entail before anything else happened. See? I guess that's the thrill I was thinking about when you'd first learn about a person & their piercing but again I'd be asking all sorts of questions afterwards. I'd be asking all those near clinical questions about condoms, tearing, pain, etc.- not exactly romantic sweet talk but questions vital in order to take it to the next level.
