First Story-seeking Honest Input

I submitted my first story(non-erotic) which is now posted under NEW STORIES entitled HEROES AMONG US. Just some thoughts following the aftermath of September 11th. Would really like to honest input-good or bad. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I took a look at your bio, read three of your poems and took a look at a couple stories. Poems were beautiful, stories well written. Wish I could do that. Didn't understand all of your reply about Mr. Happy, but I do have a story idea and it said to email you but no email address is shown and I guess I don't know enough about the site to find it. Anyway, reading your stories that I looked at, and I'll take a look at more over the weekend, I think it would be a story you would be interested in and well suited to write it if you're interested.

Just checked out your essay "Heroes Among Us"......
well done, and wonderful! It's amazing that in the
last couple of weeks ordinary people have become
"heroes" in their own way.....from donating blood to
giving money to the Red Cross and other related
charities, to giving food and water to the rescue
workers......very touching!

Tigerjen, I sent you an email but did it differently so I'm hoping you get it. I do appreciate your kind words. I just submitted another entitled CHOICES(non-erotic) which probably means more to me than it will to anyone else. I add to add the last part because it wasn't long enough. I have looked at your poetry. Top 10 are all you. Very beautiful stuff. Thanks again.

Just checked out "Choices"

Definitely a serious piece, but I gathered it is quite
personal, and I conclude after reading, that we all
make choices for one reason or another. Sometimes
conscious, sometimes subconsciously. At times life
forces us to make choices......and many people
can make choices for the right or wrong reasons.
I gave it a 5 because of the magnitude of personal
meaning that is attached to it.

Thanks again, Tigerjen, for looking at CHOICES. You're right. People do make right choices and bad choices. I guess the nice thing to know is that in a sense we have make them anew each day so we make correct bad ones-if we're wise enough to recognize a bad choice.

I found it very well done. "Contemplation" at its best.

I don't know how much feedback you will get on it, or your other work. Be sure to let me know. I think the site having "Non-Erotic" sections just makesit better. Still, I do wonder what people are here to read.

Good job. Sometimes it is the choices we don't make that bite us on the arse later.

Thanks for the input on CHOICES. I'll try email but if that doesn't work, I thought I'd try this too. I'm not sure what people come here to read either. I've read stuff in every category. You are probably right about the choices we don't make that come back to bite us. Still, it would seem to me that is a heart decision of one day and doesn't mean we can't reevaluate the next day, assuming we are cognizant of the fact we didn't make it in the first place. Appreciate the input!
