Hi!

Please bear with me; I'm just a virgin. I posted my first story (An Alley Of Earthly Delights: http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=252201) a couple of weeks ago and advertised it here. But, I neglected to introduce myself, which was rude.

I'm 59 and my wife and I are on our second marriages--nine years as of the 10th of this month. My wife is 10 years younger than me; she's my "trophy bride." When you get to be our ages things begin to work differently than they used to. Our sex is great, it's just different. My wife still works but I'm retired.

I do have a couple of questions (I've looked at the FAQs and read the posts but I still can't find the answers--I'll admit I've had some problems navigating the site). 1. Re: child pornography. I read somewhere on the site that it's prohibited, as it should be, but how do you write an incest story without one of the characters being under 18? Yes, incest can be between two adults but that's usually how the story goes. 2. When I view submissions--which is easy because I only have one--I see four numbers:

That third number is the number of times your story has been viewed. It is unclear whether that is the number of times the story has been viewed, or a ticker for each time a page of your story has been viewed.

As to characters under 18, it is simply a rule on Lit that appears to have been in place from the beginning. You either have to fit your stories within it or find ways to shadow the age of the character and never clearly indicate they are under the age of 18. If it is obvious, or too strongly hinted, that a character in your story is under the age of 18, the story will be rejected during the approval process.

Considering the number of taboo stories, I'd say authors have found a way to write those tales within the restrictions. There are some other places that do accept stories without such restrictions, and if your story requires an obvious representation of such a character you might consider seeking one of them out as the venue for that tale.

Thanks and Clarification

First, a point of clarification. I don't want to post a story explicitly depicting child or pubescent sex. But I was writing a story where the brother was 20-21 and his sister was still in high school. When it dawned on me that if she was still in high school she would have to be a minor I started rewriting the story so there was incest but both were adults. The story didn't work! Because I've read other stories on this site where one of the characters was obviously a minor I wondered how those stories were getting posted.

Second: even if that 3rd number was page views then approximately 11,838--assuming no re-reads--people read the 3-page story, only 43 voted, and just 3 commented. Seems a whole lot of people read the story and less than 1/2 of a percent voted? The story was posted 4/23. Could 11,838 people have read the story by then?
