I was 12 when we passed around "Spencer's Mountain" in class to read the part where it is implied that they had sex on the mountain. The sunburned back was the giveaway.
That same year, I read John Cleland's "Fanny Hill or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure." The stars burst! It was my first awareness of truly being a woman. It was the first time I became wet from reading! I had my hand between my legs thru that entire book. Alas, my mother found it and took it away. I have never read it again but I will never forget: from that moment on I have been hooked.
What was your first? Enlighten me!
