Hi. I posted this up two days ago, in the wrong area.
So I figured I would post it here. Please understand this is a first draft, and I wrote this on the fly.
Here is an excerpt from it:
"...I am no better than anyone else in the world. Everyone has their fallibles. I am not an exception to that rule. While I normally come across as a quiet, gentle man, I have an inner dark side that I leave to use on things that I don't particularly like, as you will soon find out.
Violence has its place in this world. People upset me when they say, "All problems can be solved without the use of violence." This is an ignorant, stupid thing to say. The religious conflicts in the Middle East are examples of
this. Need I mention the ethnic cleansing that went on in Bosnia? These people, by just having a different view of gods and afterlife, go to war. The crusades are an older example of this.
Try to tell these different religous factions to live together in harmony, see how far that gets you. School shootings, wars over profit, power and political ideations. Let's not forget drug dealers, extortionists, and gangland violence. More examples of how humans have used the use of violence to gain things.
To be truthful, I have always disliked the use of violence. If there a way to divert the basic human mind of natural, impulsive instincts, perhaps violence can be avoided. I don't see that happening yet. Sometimes though, there isn't just any other way to solve a problem. I should know...
Hello, by the way. My name is Gray. I bring justice to the dead and horribly wronged.
Do you notice, in mass media entertainment, the superhero that does the good and right things, always have a lot of power and money? Why is that? Why do you have to have rugged good looks, training from the best martial artists? The superhero does defying-gravity moves and lucky one-shot-making-it-or-die opportunities of escape. Well, I guess they are that lucky, not to mention fictitious.
Oh well, some of us out there don't have a groovy bat cave, or a green ring to give us power. To be fair, I do have a little bit of military training, but am not a super soldier, or genetically enhanced. Hell, I don't even have those cool grappling gadgets that every good fighting evil person does. So you can't classify me as a hero.
I am just an ordinary man, trying to do unordinary things.
Why do I do it? You don't need to know, not yet.
--Let me tell you about the first time...."
You know, just by reading this for the fifth time, I know how much it sucks now. But it's my writing, and like I said, I wrote this on the fly last night.
Discuss and critique.
