Need help figuring out how to shrink our digital pics so i can post them here. My husband and I are not very good with this stuff. I will get pics of me on here as soon as i figure how to fix the pics.

My nasty-ass camera...

I just got this Minolta A1 and the damn thing has so many controls that they're everywhere except on the bottom. And I'm afraid to look there in case some have recently sprung up.

This is what I read about digital cameras once. It said that the number of Megapixels determined the maximum "size" of the photo, and by dropping the size (like from 2560 down to 800) you're getting a smaller picture but with the same resolution because that is a function of the "CCD" device (what renders the picture). So if you were to display the photos, the smaller resolutions would tend to fit better on the screen. Of course, I have not had enough time to putz around with the camera because of the speed of life...

What is the moral of this story? It's good luck with that camera thing. If I learn something I will forward it on...
