Hi everyone,

My boyfriend has bought me some anal beads and I have never used it before I'm a little bit reluctant for using them. Of course he always asks me how I find them and I just answer hil that they are ok but I am affraid to tell him that I haven't tried them yet because it seems so weird... Although it is not that big, it resembles a little bit to these beads.

I'm also affraid that he has bought them with a second intention which is a scary thought too.

Has anyone found herself in this situation yet?

thanks

You might want to get yourself a good bottle of silicone lube and try that thing out. Take your time and go slow. You might just suddenly realize that, OMG, this isn't bad, this is nice. He's giving you a chance to "warm up" to the idea. There's plenty already spoken of here about how nice anal is, if done properly.

I wouldn't recommend silicone lube if they are jelly beads, as jelly sometimes contains some silicone, which can be incompatible with silicone lube. Of course, I don't recommend jelly toys that can't be used with a condom, either.

Jessica, I'd suggest getting very relaxed (maybe take a nice bath, light some candles, have a glass of wine and read a few great stories) and comfortable first.

Take your time touching yourself all over and getting really aroused. Put a good water-based lube (there are lots of good lubes - I'd just stay away from KY Jelly and Astroglide) all over the first bead, and gently push it in your anus.

Keep touching yourself--if you're using your fingers to masturbate, make sure you insert the beads with a different hand, so you don't get a UTI or vaginal infection from bacteria--lube and insert the second bead slowly.

Keep doing this, or whatever feels best to you, until you have all the beads in. If the larger beads are a little uncomfortable or harder to insert, try pushing out gently, like you're having a bowel movement, when you insert them to relax those muscles.

You might find you enjoy having the beads in when you orgasm, but a lot of people pull them out to provide extra stimulation right at the point of orgasm. I'd suggest trying both at some point, and seeing if you like either.

Of course if you feel pressured or aren't comfortable with the idea of anal play, you're probably not going to enjoy the beads. If that's the case, I'd suggest putting it on hold for a while and telling your bf you're not comfortable at this point, then keeping an open mind for the future.

Just because your bf might be interested in anal play doesn't necessarily mean he wants to push you into anal sex (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "second intention"). Some people just find the idea of anal activity really erotic.

I'd advise reading through Anal Section of The Blank Manual sticky near the top of the main How To page. There's lots of great info in there for enjoying anal play and sex. When done properly, it shouldn't be painful at all, and can be a very intimate experience. :)

You're so right Erika. I didn't notice those were Jelly beads. Everyone is so into Silicone it seems I suggested it without thinking.

Olive oil is nice....

True, but oil-based lubes won't work with jelly either in most cases because it contains rubber. Jelly toys are pretty much limited to water-based, or silicone when a condom is used (which is ALWAYS a good idea if the condom fits snugly or can be tied around the base of the toy).

SweetErika has a way with words but I thought there must be a video out there to point you in the right direction and it turns out the perfect video is not as easy to come by as I thought but I think I found it.

I think it's a safe bet your bf hopes to eventually replace those beads :D but that's for another "how to". Keep an open mind and see what happens. I'm a big believer in trying new things but if you don't like something your partner has to respect that decision. For now break out the lube and explore.

Ok thats the last straw. I'm turning in my Know-It-All Hat and badge and retiring.

See what happens when all your toys (all four of them) can be used with just about anything short of motor oil? Hey now that might be a story...

Sigh...man I blew it this time didn't I....

Nah...

How are people supposed to know what "jelly material" is anyway? It's not like toy manufacturers and retailers advertise it as an 'mix of rubber, silicone, and toxic chemicals' right? :D
