Poetry Thread

A heart is pure and filled by you
thoughts that run rampant through my mind
running through a field picking up daisies i hand them to you
you bow and say my man thats so kind
a lady is true and pure as snow
to tell each other exactly what they know
to open entirely and dont hold back
and always enforce what they think they lack
i take your hand and walk in grace
to be ever close and in each others space
to kiss your lips and pull you near
wipe away our tears and all our fears
a love so true it takes only a moment
but a lifetime to learn and truly know
your hair is long as the cool air blows
a smile i see as you looking at me
i place a gentle hand upon your cheeck
as i softly listen for you to speak
your words so soft and in my ear
you softly say be forever near
a flower band i place upon your head
without you my love my heart is of lead
the sun on your face such beauty such grace
our love is true and it shows on our face
love me thy princess and i shall be forever at your grace

A heart feels empty,
lost in time wishing to change the past
when your body screams wow
and your mind runs scared,
and you dont know how to handle your fear,
words flow out that you dont truly mean,
when what you only wanted was to hold her near,
space was unknown and not aware,
spoke form my heart my feelings i shared,
never have known the love that i had,
when i wish for her smile and not to feel sad,
hope things can change, work themselves out
as i sit all alone, my soul wants to shout,
how i love with so many ways,
it was her i wished to spend all of my days.

Thank you very much!
Never posted poetry for people to see. This is the first time people can actually see my heart on the outside. Hope you enjoy and come back anytime. I simply write from my heart and what i feel.

Your sentiments are warm, but being so desparate just starting a new relationship is a bad sign. True love takes time, and patience. It is like a beautiful orchid. Very delicate and fragile. You have to let it bloom at its own pace. This reminds me some of the story about the little kids holding the sparrow in his hand. He thought he was so cute as he asked a wise older person if the person could tell if the bird was alive or dead now inside his grasp. The wise person said, "Son, it is all up to you! You hold the fate of that bird in your hand."

And so it is with love, too tight a grip, and it dies. To lose, and it flits away.
Examine your wishes for the other person and see if you are squeezing the relationship!!!

runs deep

Calm blue waters
cool breeze on my face
sitting in my private place
eyes closed lost in space
layin beneath the shade of a tree
knowing there is no place i rather be
the white sand between my toes
the cool water over my feet
as i slowly drift into a heavy sleep
dreams rush in and surround my soul
the gulls over head singing there song
the song of the ocean
the words are the wind
the chorus the gulls
the paper the sand
my foot writes it down as i dream
a place a soul can trully run deep
