Finished Phoenix Tattoo

Well, after a YEAR, this tattoo is finally finished. It covers my upper back. Took 4 sittings, but it is finally done. I was going to bump up my old thread but I can't find the blasted thing so...oh well.

The yellow is pretty bold right now, I don't take yellow too well so it will heal to a much paler shade, this picture was taken 2 days after.

and yes, I love sparkles <grin>

i am not a big fan of tattoos - for various reasons

but i must say yours is one of the most unique, most beautifully executed tattoos i've ever seen... i'm reminded of the kushiel's dart series and the beautiful discriptions of her tattoo
