I've written seven stories over the past two months and submitted none. I feel good writing them, but when I look at the final product I lose interest. I guess this is another form of writers block.

I've been there. Some of my best work I can't really read anymore just because I'm no longer interested in it. Or maybe it's because I already know it. Doesn't mean it's not a good story, just means you got it out of your head and it's time to move on.

So, if you're stuck at the moving on part, maybe the best way to get it in gear is to submit the stories and see what the readers think.

I wish I had that kind of self-restraint...

When I've given stories all their necessary edits I submit them and try to get them up a.s.a.h.p. If they're poorly received after that or get negative feedback, THAT's when I become my own harshest critic and start seeing all the "flaws." —S

Maybe share it with someone first? Almost all my stories were sent to lovers to turn them on in my absence... Got some very good feedback... Among other things;)

Yeah...

I used to do that, e-mailing first drafts to a couple extra special Readers who responded more than most. But eventually we lost touch. Ah well, but it's kind of a moot point now anywho.
