is hard as hell! With the temp being 70+ degrees here and sunny, my first inclination is "COOK OUT!!" heh

So, of course, I have some steaks, hot dogs and such that I want to grill. Problem is, where's the charcoal? It took me going to at least 3 stores before I found some. Turns out that nobody here expects people to be stupid enough to cook out in January. huh! Imagine that. (heheh)

Anyway, there's really no particular reason for this post besides me rubbing in the fact I had grilled ribeyes, hot dogs, baked potatoes and mac 'n cheese for dinner.

haha! (shit eating grin)

BFD

I had lobster, caesar salad, shrimp, tenderloin steak, scallops, peking duck, ribs, fried chicken, lyonnaise potatoes, and a bottle of Pinot Grigio to wash it all down.

Almost forgot - had a Moon Pie for dessert.

well, miles

you win again. What? No cheesecake for dessert?

ha! I had a brown cow. hehe beats the hell out of a moonpie.

;-)

What does 70 have to do with it?

I have two bags of hardwood charcoal (not those wimpy ass briquettes - who made that word up anyway) ready to cook out on Friday even though it's below freezing in MN and they are calling for snow. With a weber it hardly matters. I'm looking at ham and salmon done with pineapple as of now, and it just tastes better cooked over that smoking, open fire. The grocery store has plenty of charcoal... MN does cookouts year round.

Yup, Wisconsin does, too. Although sometimes you have to knock the snow off the grill first, if you forget to put it back under the deck roof... Not this winter though! :D
