The story is about a husband and wife who pursue a music career/are in a band and the wife has an affair with a band member. The husband gets revenge, creates his own record label, and starts a relationship with his secretary. I remember the ending part being a first-person POV with the wife as she gets the door slammed in her face and when she returns to her car, she says, “Thats going to take some therapy” or something along those lines. No, the story focuses more on the POVs of the husband and wife. Also the music/band part of the story is more of a background/context and not really that large of a focal point. To make some more clarifications, the husbands new girlfriend is a black secretary and there was a scene where the husband slams his door In front of his ex-wife’s face when he is about to have sex with his new girlfriend. Also there was a scene guy who the wife is cheating with got his hands/wrist smashed. Thanks for the answering though

I don't know if the author ever tagged it as BTB. I don't think the writer even categorized his work into Loving Wives. Their work was never really centered around the sex aspect, it was implicitly used. Their work was more about the emotional aspect of revenge.
