I have been (several times now) trying to find an old story, that I think was available circa 2003 through 2006 or today. Was a simple premise, in that apparently two older gals lived as neighbors. One wasn't too attractive, but had a LOT of girlfrends and boyfriends. The other neighbor had a son. The unattractive neighbor invited the two next door neighbors over one evening for a soak in the backyard Hot Tub. If they were not alone imediately, but the three soon were. Rules were sort of rigid, in that No-one was permitted in to the main house. I think the unattractive one also had a bit of glug-glug drinking problem.

After being in the Hot Tub for a while, the son wanted out, for he had to take a pee. No one was permitted into the main house, and their own home next door was locked up tight. So, he went towards some backyard bushes to give them a watering. He got aimed to another location as the unattractive neighbor thought little of this, so Mom said to do it smack on the grass of the backyard.

All I can remember at this point. 'cept the name Kathy (or some variant in spelling) was name to one of the two neighbor ladies or who actually wrote it. There was something about her drinking condition that got mentioned here too.

You got any idea as to title or author on this one? I tried many of the key words in SEARCH but got no place. Does any of this read familair to anyone?

I've yet to see someone say they recognize the story, nevermind the title or author, in one of these threads (and there have been A LOT of them). So, I don't think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you pin your hopes on this method.

However, you may very well be able to find it if you use the "Search Lit via Google" approach that's described in this sticky in the Story Feedback forum. If the story is still on the site (sometimes authors have pieces removed for various reasons) and you're prepared to put some effort into searching, you'll probably find it.

If you come across an exceptional story in the future, your best bet is to note the title and author, then save it to multiple locations (e.g. bookmarks, a text doc, external storage, printing it out) so you'll almost certainly be able to enjoy independent of the site. :)
