There's the possibility of a Led Zeppelin concert dvd at long last. For too long the only official representation of the band as a concert stage juggernaut has been the rather shabby semi-concert docu-fantasy "The Song Remains the Same". This new dvd will contain Several full shows: The Royal Albert Hall 1970 (Jimmy Page's birthday), one of the legendary Earl's Court shows from 1975, Seattle 1977, and Knebworth 1979. I've got the second Knebworth show on bootleg and though it appears that the band were not quite up to par, it does give an indication of what they were capable of. I've seen clips of the other shows and I can say that if this collection does see the open market it will justify the long wait Zeppelin fans have endured. Once again the mighty colosuss will strut and roar for all to see and hear.

God I hope so! I've seen Page play on 3 seperate occasions and each was better than the last. I've very anxious to finally see a decent representation of the entire band.

I can't wait to see it. There's not enough Zep on film to keep me happy, I've seen some grainy old video, and the Song Remains the Same, but I want more!

From what I hear it's likely to be a fall or winter release, but it is going to happen. You're right Soblue there's not enough of the big bad blimp on any visual format and for one of the most exciting bands ever, that is a real shame. I know for a fact that the last U.S. tour in `77 was filmed. ALL OF IT. Thi awas their most exciting in terms of visual appeal as well as being one of the highest and lowest points in the history of the group. But the wishes of the fans look like they're finally coming true. Let's hope it's been worth the wait.
