After being alive for 26 years I've finally decided that I have to get it off my chest. I'm telling one of my best friends today and I'm sure he will be accepting. I'll still be nervous as hell, but I think I can handle it. I hope finally telling someone will help me start to like myself as a person and make me get my life on a path of happiness and success.

It went fantastic, not only was he totally accepting, but it turns out that he would love the chance to change genders as well, is bisexual, and has made out with more then one man. I feel a ton better. Now the next step is to keep reaching out to the glbt community, make some friends in it here in cleveland and keep myself sane.

thanks for the encouragement

It's funny what we don't know about our own friends. I'm glad you have found someone who can empathize with you and who you can talk things over with. :)

its been about 5 hours since I did it and it feels fantastic. I need to take more steps, just not sure what they should be. I definitely know I want to meet a with transgendered people and talk face to face, it would be such a release. I also wouldn't mind a relationship. Small steps.
