Has anyone else seen this movie?
I loved it. It's the best movie I've seen this year and I've seen most of the 'must sees' offered up so far.
Naturally, every review I've read so far is horribly negative and it was regulated the 'back room' of the theatre I went to. You know, the crappy room that's half the size of all the other rooms?

Why is it that the good movies are always given the smallest billing?
Has anyone else seen this picture?
Anyone else like it? I've been told I have no taste but this movie was just so well done.

Dreaming of infinity.

I saw it this past Monday with Mistress, Ravenloft and Val.

That movie is fucking sweet!!!

Highly recommendable....i think I'm gonna go and see it again...just to get the thrill of it again.

Its amazing!

It's sooooooo good.
Just don't go in there expecting a typical American Sci-Fi pic, it's very Japanese.

Oh, and I suppose if you know nothing about Greek mythology Gaia is the name of the earth. My mother had to ask me.

At least she turned her cell-phone off when I asked her.

Must.. find.. next spirit.

I really liked it as a first effort in this type of film. I love Final Fantasy...have played all the games, and love the stories, but I think that maybe they should have waited and worked on it a little longer. Doctor Cid was (as I've read) the last character to be completely developed, and it was quite evident in the film. His expressions and details were much superior than the other characters. I'm not knocking it...it was definitely worth seeing and I'd like to see it again, and I can't wait to see the next one when they develop it!

It was awesome. I hope they continue to make movies. It was like watching a giant cutscene from one of their games. It was sweet. :)

As I said the other day the graphics are very realistic, the movie was fantastic. When we saw it though it was in the big stadium seating area, so it wasnt a tiny room. Plus it was early in the day so there was hardly anyone in there, maybe a total of ten people in the whole section. It kicked ass. :D

Wasn't it number one last week?

I liked it too, but I think the jaw dropping animation covered up for the flaws in the plot. For example, they didn't explain what the spirits were all that well, and why 8 of them had to be collected, and how that would make a difference....

This would have benefitted much more for being a bit longer, or even being used for a game instead. The magic of Final Fantasy games is the plot development that always keeps you engrossed when you play. Sadly, I think this was absent in the movie....
