I'm going to try a FF8 thread. So feel free to claim a character and jump right in. But lets try and keep genders even. But don't be afraid to join.
This will take place on the garden. The characters are resting up before their final battle at Ultimecias castle.

Squall lay in his dorm considering the events of the past few days, looking over at distantly staring at his gunblade. I wonder what everyone else is doing.

This seems to be looking like a Selphie Gang Bang. And at Destiny's Request I'm trying to think of a female character to play...

Not Rinoa or Quistis though... the girl at the bar... just give it a little while it'll come to me. But I'll reserve her till I remember. (I haven't finished the game yet though so if anyone has any tips on what happened with her later, (Past the assasination... what can I say lost the disk, can't even get past cd 1 without reinstalling it.. grrr...) Just puttin dibs on her.

I guess I don't know exactly when this is so I'm just going to assume it's on a diff. timeline than the game and say this is when Selphie first gets to the Garden.


IC:

She bounced up the stairs stopping just short of entering the huge building. Her mouth partially agape as she looked in amazement at the immense place.

"THIS GARDEN' HUGE!"

She turns back and looks at the driver who was unloading her bag.

"Isn't it amazing?"

He just nodded glad to get rid of the chatterbox girl. She ran to grab her bag, immediately picking it up and thanking him before running in. She stopped in the center and pulled out her room assignment card. Looking around lost she had no idea where the dorms were.

(Since The GFs make people forget, Laguna is going to be in the Garden...)

*He sat upon the gardens bench, looking at women and thinking about Raine, it was his job as a SeeD to escort the new recruits to their rooms. He saw the bus that stopped and dropped off the recruits, he stood with a sigh. He thought it would be another boring day because it always was. Thats when he spotted selphie, he instantly walked up to her, kissed her hand and bowed*

Hello young Lady, My name is Laguna... I'll be escorting you to me room...

*He snuck a peak at her cleavage and grinned as he looked up at her.*

ooc: I just wanted to share a little story regarding FF8.

I am not a video game player. My attention span with them is short, so I leave the video games to my husband, my three brothers, and my stepdad. My oldest little brother (I think he was 19 at the time) was living with my husband and I, and one day he snapped a picture of me right after I had come out of the shower, with the back of my hair twisted around to stay off my neck. I feel absolutely naked without my hair down, so I always leave the front part down when I put the back up. I like how it looks, and its a happy compromise for me.

At any rate, I thought no more of the photo that my brother had taken until one day my brother called me into his room to see his new webpage. He had included a picture of me in it (see bottom of this post) and labeled it "my sister is like quistis, only fat".

Now, I had no idea what he was talking about, and asked him what quistis was. He explained she was from a video game, and then proceeded to show me FF8.

It remains the only video game that I have ever played for more than a short stint of 10 minutes at a time. My first day I spent 6 hours playing it.

And hey, that picture does sort of look like a fat Quistis. *laugh*

OOC: I didnt know weither this is story is taking place before or after quistis was made a seed instead of a prof so i assume its after if i assumed wrong tell me and ill fix it.



Walking down the hall paying more attention to the combat mag then he was to where he was walking he bumped in to Quistis "Sorry Quistis" Zell hurridly says "I just got this in mail and its full of good tequniques." He had known Quistis for a long time as a professor and as a partner in battles. But something he hid from everyone was that he had a crush on her that he would never admit.

Squall

Spending time in the training area was simply a way to pass time rather than improving himself nowadays but squall smashed away at the plant monsters like his life depended on it.

ooc Yeah I'm confused about that. You originally said its right before ultemecias, but selphie is playing like she just got to the garden. Which are we going with? It certainly makes a difference as to whether I'm an instructor still.
