Not 50k but getting close! They seem to slow down as time goes on. Certainly a great title brings them in long after it is off the new list. Half the battle is getting the reader to open the story among so many choices.

Ok, I will bite. What is with the Cacti in your siggy? I must admit purple is my color and that one little purple 'prick' really catches my attention.

Phil, the fruit so commonly called prickly pears are tuñas. I am missing the Mexico of my youth and those signify, plus they are Christmas colors. The pulp is bright ruby red, extremely juicy and will stain lips, a nice bonus. Do not ever try to pick one off the plant without leather gloves. Even those found in markets have a few stray needles (very fine).

I haven't really been here very long, but..

I took a look, and my most viewed story has over 67, 000 to it, and its been up now about 6 months, but it's one of the lower voting rates at 4.07 of all my stories. I don't know if that's good or bad, but I find it amazing that so many people have read my work here at Lit. If you add up all the hits on my 25 stories, and poems its close to 1 million views.

Reader views and scores

I still consider myself fairly new at this site. I have posted 11 stories over the past 75-days.

Reader views have been good. 10 of 11 stories hold "H" scores todate, with the loner at 4.43 or something like that.

First story, "Son's Nasty Girlfriend" in the Group Sex category has had 33,658 views since 9/19/03.

My story, "Homecoming", submitted 10/25/03 has 60,800 views in the past roughly 40-days, scoring 4.51. Category-Incest.

As long term authors here will confirm, story category has a big impact on the number of reads!!!

Not always so. My highest-rated - although not 'most-viewed' - story is in Erotic Couplings and has 95408 views. Its sequel - my second-highest rated story - only has 8342, however, which supports your argument, and it's in Romance.

My 'most-viewed' is, of course, in Incest . . .
