Does this woman ever swallow? I mean, does she ever need fluids in her mouth to keep reading the way that she does? She's a fine reader with such crap material...

Scrolling down, I see many jealous ones detest her but I happen to like her ability to read the entire book without fatigue surfacing in her breath (oh my). Plus I find Kristin Stewart extremely asexual so if this Becca chick is hot, just let her play Ana.

Yeah yeah, there's the link to the audiobook for free.

:rose:

The combination between the writing and her voice should be enough to turn people off from evening getting through the first part. I think putting this out was a rush job and they grabbed the first available person that would agree to do it.

Omg
She's awful.

Awful? That's not true and you know it.

What's wrong with her voice, HB?

Here's this gal (with a broadcast background, perhaps?) who gets the job to read the entire longass 'Fifty Shades of Grey' trilogy and not once does she fuck up, cough, sputter or make me wanna vomit. Getting through all the extremely descriptive sex scenes the way she does with not one mishap is mindblowing to me.

Then again, I'm not used to audiobooks.

Nor FREE audiobooks right there at my fingertips...

...and tippy toes.

Enjoy in Moderation

11K more viewers to this one... guess those who paid for the 1st book are still interested...

The books I am currently reading aloud are 4 or 5 pages long.

One Fish, two Fish...

I'm not sure when I'll get around to even reading the book. Isn't it just some candied down version of our own stuff here?

I've listened to lots of Books on tape. A narrator makes all the difference...

I picture those as for your grandkid and smile.

It's a good thing beings that our combined attention spans are good for 3 pages max.

Well, I've listed two links to show how I think this narrator actually makes the books more interesting.

Try this one...

If you hit Amazon to order this book (since it's sold out at our local Barnes and Nobles, ect.), you'll read how some are like #129 in line to get it at their library. One woman said she was #523 or something in line at her library. I SWEAR TO GOD.

A) They have access to the internet and Amazon.

B) Uh, no thought to try Utube?

Yeah cuz they record those with no breaks or anything. Just straight through from beginning to end. Not a single edit. Yep.

I do wonder, tho, why didn't they just text each other? He gave her a Blackberry and yet they email nonstop in year 2011?

i've read a lot of the commentary on the book, but wasn't going to buy it. thank you for the link! it's been a while since i've listened to an audio book. they are great for long car drives. i'm curious to see how my attention span does with the computer, given all of the other distractions. as compared to driving. that sounds bad. cheebs, please tell me you don't text and drive.

I'm the most focused driver you'll ever know, so no. I don't text and drive.

I do blare loud music but that's 20plus years of knowhow.

Oh yeah, I've read commentary on the book(s) at Amazon, especially.

I wonder if the same people pasted their same comments about Stephenie Meyer or wasted tons of times blasting this new writer instead of, say, I dunno, writing their own trilogy to make millions and millions of dollar$.

Ohhhh goody goody gumdrops. Nothing but super negative comments in this thread.

I'd hate to feel responsible for the person who got in trouble by Random House pretty much the day after I bumped this thread. All her links were available for several weeks and then bam - nada. No worries though, she bounced back and has them available elsewhere.
