My dear friend and I were talking about fictional characters that we're sexually attracted to.

Upon reflection I'd have to say Robin Hood. I love his outlaw persona, as well as his subversive "Rob the rich to give to the poor" manifesto. A real rebel... an archery master... scorning the upper class and posing as a commoner... Wow.

Who else has a good one?

Will Scarlet. Delicious. I love his style. He looks meek and mild, like the perfect figure of a prancing nobleman. Then he proceeds, with sweet good manners, to kick Robin's tail.

I love the scene from Howard Pyle's "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" where Will and Robin meet. Robin goes down to challenge Will, having seen him idling along the road smelling a flower. Will smiles gently and refuses to give up his purse. Robin challenges him to fight and tells him to go cut a quarterstaff, since all he has is a sword and Robin claims that he can snap that with his staff in a minute. Will agrees, walks over to a stand of oak saplings ... and quite calmly, as if it's no great feat, pulls one up by the roots. I just love the little "oh CRAP" moment Robin has while watching him come back quietly trimming the branches from it.

Carson, jump on my back. Let's take Sherwood by storm.

Yeah, I think in my younger days she may have occasionally been a handy inspiration, if you know what I mean.

I especially liked her 1917 personna in Time Enough for Love. I wished I had a mother like that.

Johnny Bravo

I'm JOKING!

Gimme Legolas and Aragorn -- in full cinematic personification.

Or -- Louis and Lestat -- again, from the flick.

(It's the buddy system, ya know? But you can SKIP Starsky and Hutch!)

If you know who she is, you'll know why.

Woodrow Wilson Long had a wonderful mother. No wonder he turned out to be the great man he is.

Ren and Stimpy make my nipples hard.:D

For me, it's Captain James Hook. He's been the man since I was about five years old.

"His eyes were of the blue of the forget-me-nots, and of a profound melancholy, save when he was plunging his hook into you...". Yeah, baby. I was always rooting for him, never that meddlesome bratty Peter Pan. ;)

I prefer the more detailed descriptions from her POV in To Sail Beyond The Sunset myself.

His sisters Lapis Lazuli and Lorelei Lee aren't too bad either.

Characters in books whom I have the hots for because of the film they made out of the book:
Severus Snape
Draco Malfoy
Harry Potter

Characters in books whom I have the hots for even though there's no movie/I haven't seen the movie:
Carrot Ironfundersson
Christer Wijk

I have more crushes on fictional characters than I do on real-life people. My first big heartthrob was the Disney animated fox Robin Hood.

Here's some of the others:
Jack Sparrow
Legolas
Brisco County Jr.
Agent Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks)
Goliath (Gargoyles)
Obi-Wan Kenobi (episode I only)
Dr. Luka Kovac (ER)

Sabledrake

Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. When I was a boy he seemed to me the perfect man. Then I read Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar and fell for La, Queen of the Opar Men.
I was so confused. No confusion now. I want them both. At the same time.

In the ink!

Cartoon/Comic? Gambit from the X-Men. I love the creole style!
And the Tramp from Lady and the Tramp

Movies? Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, and Cpt. Jack Sparrow.

Ah but name a Johny Depp movie and I'm in love with his character. He could wear the Barney suit and sing with the Wiggles and I'd be in a sensual state of mind.

Books? The Vampire Armond from Anne Rice, and Louis from the same.
Plus there's my secret addiction to Johanna Lindsey novels that feature the Malory men. If you like historical romance you'll fall in love with them. Anthony is my favorite.

Tee hee, this was fun!

Mrs. Peel (I'm convinced Tatelou is her daughter)

Mary Ann (never Ginger)

I had the biggest scrush on Disney's Aladdin for a while.

Dr Mabeuses Matt Danger could give me one any day of the week!

Hmmmmm anyone in literature? *thinks* I think I quite like Othello....It'd be fun to make the beast with two backs with him.

Myron Bollitar from the book "darkest Fear" by Harlen Coben (I just finished reading it) definitely does something for me too. Heathcliff, though slightly manic always strikes me as being someone worth having a fling with.

Nabokov's Ada. She's that intellectual/eccentric/nasty ideal that does it completely for me.

Orlando. Especially if she looks anything like her portrayal by Tilda Swinton.

El, I thought of Othello too but first I'd get rid of Iago. As for Heathcliff, another fantasy but not a full fling type, just a good tupp on the moors some night.

Perdita :p
