Feminine Men vs Alpha Males

The word dominant is the perfect descriptor of the Alpha.

They determine who eats what and when. They determine who fucks who and when.

And you dare look me straight in the eyes or this monkey will go ape on you!

<grin> C'mon Kswitch, what do you want?

You want me to tell you I like a strong guy? One that grunts while he fucks me in the ass? sure I like that.

I also like the guy that can lean on me and show his sensitivity. I like a guy who can quote shakespear, knows a bit about the theater, maybe even a few show tunes.

Do I want a priss? No, but the qualities you're talking about are labels. Feminine vs. Masculine.

I think there are too many grey areas nowadays.

You seem to think very much in black and white, and that is fine, but I'm not sure it considers lots of the reality of this world.

I don't care if you wanna argue briefs or thongs, your viewpoint on that would leave no room for boxerbriefs.

You only think in polar opposites, and I'm telling you, the world is bigger than do you or don't you, true or false.

That's the concept you haven't been getting in any of your threads.

maybe I'm wrong but you would probably get allot more women agreeing with you on some more popular but also more mundane and less-interesting boards (with less fellow pervs) somewhere else.

Great point and good post.

However...my goal here is good honest discussion of issues...Not to be agreed with constantly. Even though it's nice once in a while.

Not to go off topic.....but I hear that sometimes people who have been kidnapped and hijacked often fall in love or lust with their Kidnappers.......:catroar:

************ Point well taken, but doesnt the person that asks the question customarily get to set the peramiters of the question?*******************

Perky claims that traditional gender specific roles are slowly losing their place in society.

Cloning?
Gender specifics being abandoned?

Are men dinasours?

500 years from now.....will men be alive only in History Books?

Or will we be some sort of androgenous society?

"David"

Perky is right.

I'm far more in touch with my femininity, for lack of a better phrase, than my father was.

I cook, clean, launder clothes, love to shop, can decorate a home...all things my father's generation would have generally dismissed as "sissy" behavior.

Hell, I've even cried in front of other men once or twice.

Gasp.

And, compared to the younger men currently in university....I'm seen as a misogynist....I have it tossed at me here every day.

So clearly roles are changing towards a less gender defined societal model.

Egalitarianism is good. I dig it.

Plus I have a daughter...that has a habit of turning most any guy into a feminist/gender egalitarian pretty quickly I think, despite the posturing I do here for fun and mischief.

Do I need to call 911 for you and Lavender? ;-)

Kitty, intrigued asked me to tell you that the kids found her passed out on the keyboard, but I've got her on the phone and revived her and I think she'll be okay now. :D

She said it's nice to see you back, and that she will be in touch soon.

It's not that labels are bunk, or that they shouldn't exist, it's that each person is more than one thing. The problem with labels is that they don't leave room for more than one train of thought. It's either man or woman, homo or hetero. Life isn't black and white. Well, scratch that. My life isn't like that. Maybe yours is. Personally, I think you could do with some color. A nice shade of periwinkle, perhaps.

The person that asks the question can set the parameters. But if you wanted and a or b answer, create a poll. If you only wanted yea or nay, why do you say you wanted a discussion?

Right on Perky! Many moons ago, after watching unconscious alpha male behavior hurt important people in my life, and then beiing educated by radical feminist separatists among others, I used to joke that I was a lesbian. It took time and experience for me to come to understand that it wasn't an either/or. That I could be an evolved compassionate man AND truly enjoy my penis! And that anything less was dishonest and counterproductive.

We all have a lot of range if we honor it. And we're all at our best, for ourselves and others, when we're fully inhabiting our power, nuturing and learning from our various components along the way. Indeed, if we deny parts of ourselves, that's where trouble begins.

Besides, I think bi and bi-curious women probably don't like the traditional Alpha-males nearly as much as the average demur heterosexual women because they themselves are sexually aggressive so they don't like taking a backseat in the relationship.

Really? You think bi women are more sexually aggressive than straight women? You think straight women are demur? Hmmmm.

Chey, you're actually trying to have a real conversation with Frimost?

Damn, that's quite aggressive. And you're straight too? OMG, you do exist!!!*laughing*

Ok, this is gonna sound reeeeaaaaalllll stupid, I know, so you don't have to point it out.

Buuuuttt, I like occult stuff, sci-fi, cryptozoology, and other weird stuff.

So, reading about supposed Alien abductions and sightings, you know, X-file stuff.

I have ALWAYS suspected and thought that if, ok, IF they were real-they did NOT come from another PLANET but from another TIME.

You talk about if cloning and what not has us headed to androgency and the extinction of the male (and eventually female) gender.

The aliens, they are always SEX-LESS, NO genitals...

I think they are WE (if its not all BS of course). All the abductions, sex experiments, the abducted people always speak of experiments to give them a baby or take sperm and eggs from them...ask yourself why?

Because they LOST the genetic diversification to sustain their race over a long period of time, too much cloning and asexual reproduction- a long slow decline those effects don't show up until we have evolved past the point of being able to sexually reproduce anymore by ourselves.

So, the saucers would not be spaceships but time machines in order for them to stop the extinction of our own race by going back into our time for much needed "new" genitc DNA.

I know it sound fucked-up, but I thought of it when I was entertaining ideas to use for a storyline for a short story or book I have contemplated writing before.

Cheyenne;
I am talking generalities, Yes, I think the average bi woman is more sexually aggressive than the average straight woman. Besides, many of the straight women here probably have fetishes that the average straight woman dose not have too.

Tell her that I very much appreciate all her thoughts and offers.

I really don't want to accept monetary donations, cause it just makes me uncomfie to do so, but I'm not too proud to accept donated household items. Especially from lit's M.S. :D

I hope to get to chat with her before I head back to my mom's on Wed.

Aint that always the way though with most things?

Look at all the "writers" here who have never been published or paid for their work.

Go to any restaurant and there are no waiters...only "actors".

Any discussion board has tons of "military experts".

And on it goes.

Maybe everything is just The Truman Show or The Secret Life of Walter Middy.

Whatever it is, you folks are often good for a giggle!

Lance

Frimost, just because a person is bi sexual does not mean they are sexually more adventurous. That is just ludicrous.

This is true. Most people who claim "alpha" status are anything but. It's interesting to see who thinks they're a top dog who thinks they're not.

It's amusing to see it. Just like the scrabblings of women who claim they are a "bitch" because it sounds like something tough and cool, but really aren't and the men who claim to be dangerous because it sounds cool when they really aren't.

It's very good for a giggle.

Agreeing with you--even on something so small as what constitutes amusement--is nauseating.

I was away for a bit, but I would just like to say that I am talking about....Just a Man. A masculine, confident man. I am not refering to dominant arrogant beer swizzling do as I say not as I do men.

Am I to believe that women do not want just a plain old fashioned Masculine man anymore?

And Lance doing dishes and laundry, or occassionally crying in no way says to me at least Femininity.

And dont get me wrong here...a major turn on in a woman for me is strength, and confidence.

I think like frimost said earlier that this board is....very special in the sense that the opinions here are probably not a real accurate description of "Mainstream" society today.

Mainstream......that should draw some fire I am sure. But understand that a lot of the people here especially the women are not necessarily part of the mainstream....you are unique.
I know some of you will find issue with the term mainstream.....it probably even makes some of your skin crawl....but many of you are in a minority group, wheter you like it, like the terminology, or not.

I dont make the rules, and I dont create the groups or subcultures. I just observe them and recognize them.

Mathematics, and statistics are something that no one here can deny.

Risky Online Sex Cruising
Sex Partners Found Online Are More Likely to Have STDs

A new study has found that those who seek sexual partners online are at a higher risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease, including HIV.

By Melissa Schorr

B O S T O N, July 26 — Are you looking for love in all the wrong places? You might be, if you’re cruising cyberspace for sex partners.

A new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that those who seek sexual partners online are at a higher risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease, including HIV, than those who seek partners in more traditional ways.

“They have more sex partners, more risky sex, and more history of sexually transmitted disease,” says Mary McFarlane, a research psychologist at the CDC in Atlanta who conducted the study.

This has nothing to do with anything, but Deliciously Naughty's Av sends me. It's been a long time since I've seen such a luxurious picture of the female form. It becons me to cum hither.....*sigh*

By the way, I think of myself as more feminine than masculine. Doesn't mean that I'm confused or without a spine, it just means that I am in touch with a different part of myself than might be deemed conventional in this male dominated society. I love art, have a facination with interior design, and can watch a "chick-flick" with as much enthusiasm as say "Die Hard". Hell, "Steel Magnolias" rocked.

Anyway, that's my two cents. The real point that I wanted to make was that Delicious's AV makes me feel all warm inside....

good to see that a stroll thru the GB is still good for a chuckle...

bicker on...

A lovely bit of drama, that.

Nicely played.

Drama? You're not going to enact a Bugs Bunny-esque death scene again are you?
