Please don't tell me, that I am the only one around here, old enough to remember when these commercials did not exist? When I was a kid, one did not see feminine hygiene commercials of any type. We did not have lawyer commericals either.

Yes, I remember those days as well.
There were no drug advertisements, either -- but I guess there are a lot of people these days, who need to know about lawyers, antidepressants and feminine hygiene products, huh?

It is powerful stuff. It is a force for evil, and an art-- and a necessity that many companies do not understand.

And back when lawyers and drugs were not allowed, booze and cigarettes were-- the Marlboro man was the coolest dude, and we would walk a mile for a camel. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
