I would love to hear tips on tying up, and/or immobilizing macho escape artists since I seem to be dealing with one should any of the FemDoms like to expound on that, I would be most grateful. I've gotten some good tips and used them with some better results but I need much more experience in this, I believe.

And I'm not actually referring to the women here or the Lit boards, but to my minimal exposure in the community. The general assumption is that most women are submissive and most men are Dominant so if a female shows up to a club on orientation day or even to a munch she is mostly assumed to be submissive or seeking to explore her submission.

So what happens is that she gets mostly approached by Male Doms looking for submissives or she gets enfolded into the community of sister-subs looking to turn her out. And none of that is horrible except that it tips the scales for a lot of borderline people right from the get-go. If you don't state right up front "I am a Domme!" then everyone starts trying to fit you into the sub mold.

How many women start off as subs and then become switches and then become Dommes? Is it because they really were submissives who became Dominants or is it because they were women and new and inexperienced and so they had to play submissive until they learned the ropes?

There seem to be plenty of avenues for the male neophyte looking to become a Dominant and not so many for the female. A guy walks in and they're saying "Here are your leathers and your crop, Sir. Right this way to the submissives!" and a woman walks in and they're trying to put a collar on her and lead her away to the dungeons. Once you've been in the scene for awhile and paid your dues then you've apparently got the experience to decide that maybe you want to switch a little or maybe only top other females or maybe you top everyone but your Dominant.

How common is it to find a Femdom who didn't serve as a submissive? There seem to be plenty of male Doms who don't, though. And it's not an Old Guard division, it's a gender division. Femdoms aren't keeping to the Old Guard ways any more or less than the men are.

Or am I completely off base here? I certainly could be so I'll pipe down and let some folks who actually know weigh in.

I don't think the answer is to necessarily downplay the importance of submissive/bottom experience but apply it equally.

But that's me, and I have never had my ass cropped by someone who hadn't had his/hers done at some point too, never will either.

You're right, and that really wasn't my intent, I just get a little het up as you know. ;->

I think that's another reason that meeing and learning from Femdoms appeals to me at this point far more than males. There seem to be a lot more women who've experienced both sides than there are men ---- not that there aren't some Barbara Bad-Asses around--- but I feel like there's a better opportunity for dialogue with people who aren't necessarily trying to get into my pants.

Get some really good wrist and ankle cuffs and a collar. Make sure that you can secure the cuffs so that he can't slip his wrists through it. Then get a spreader bar with steel rings on each end and also in the middle. Connect it to the ankle cuffs and secure one of his wrists to the middle ring on the spreader bar and the other to one end of the spreader bar. Then run a chain through his neck collar and attach both ends of the chain to the other end of the spreader bar. That macho man ain't going anywhere after that!

I haven't used vet wrap but I have used Saran wrap (as mentioned in the Priceless thread) and enjoyed that very much. I'll have to look for the other.

Tying tight is key and it's something I need to work on! I just don't think I have the "killer" instinct when tying. I'm always trying to make sure there is room so he doesn't hurt himself but I need to make things MUCH tighter ropes wise and eventually I will. Now the rope is like a challenge I WILL master sooner or later.

You sound like a deliciously wicked Dom. May I suggest, in addition to your very useful and effective suggestion, another way of putting your slut slave in bondage, that is very effective. Simple tie your slut slave to four bedposts, spread eagle. However make sure you first have his cock and balls tied nice and tight. Both balls should be separated. Once they are and he is securely bound, have fun. Should he try and move/escape, simply take a short length, wide tip riding crop and whip his balls with it, or for that matter his cock. Either way it will be the deterrant you are looking to achieve. Try it, I know first hand it works.
