A couple of pointers

I'm sure SexyChele can help you out. But a couple of things, make sure whatever you use for a lube is approved for internal use and waterbased is better than oil based (I think) and use some new lube not some old jar of vaseline you've had sitting around for years with all kinds of fingers and who knows what having been in it.

All the above is good advice. Your friend must have caught a flu bug or something around the time of her anal experience and suffers mainly from the post hoc fallacy....

You might try telling your partner that he'll have an incredible orgasm if you stick a finger or two in his ass whle you're blowing him (assuming you're willing to bring him to orgasm that way).
It stimulates the prostate, so I've heard, and produces a sort of G-spot whatchamacallit in the man. (Don't know whether that's true or not, but it's a helluva orgasm--that I do know!)
